HitGen Inc. (“HitGen”, SSE: 688222.SH) announced on September 17, 2026, that its wholly owned Hong Kong subsidiary, HitGen (HK) Ltd., has jointly invested in Connexus Therapeutics (“Connexus”) alongside OrbiMed Asia Partners, LAV, and Panku Capital Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Biokin Pharmaceutical). Connexus is a preclinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing novel small molecule oncology therapeutics.
HitGen (HK) Ltd. is the founding shareholder of Connexus. Under the agreement, HitGen will acquire founding shares in Connexus through a multi-stage technology licensing arrangement. Connexus will establish its own team, operate independently, and assume responsibility for advancing the drug discovery research programs. Concurrently, Connexus has closed a Series A financing round with funding from OrbiMed Asia Partners and other investors. All parties will leverage their complementary strengths to advance the research programs and explore future pathways for global collaboration and value realization.
